Founder & Director of LexAbility Education
Claire Wells
SEND specialist, SENCO, and autism expert with over 20 years of experience. Claire holds a BEd, Level 7 CPT3A in psychometric assessment, Level 5 Dyslexia Specialist Teacher qualification, and is a qualified SENCO and autism specialist. She supports children, teenagers, and adults with autism, dyslexia, speech and language needs, anxiety, and school attendance challenges. Useing a wide range of approaches including Protective Behaviours, PECS, Makaton, Zones of Regulation and Elklan, Claires practice is rooted in personalised, strength-based learning, equity and inclusion.

Head of Sport & Physical Activity
Dan Stocks
Specialist in inclusive sports and physical activity for SEND learners. Dan designs and delivers strength and conditioning, physical activity and sport specific training programmes for neurodiverse learners. He focuses on building resilience, confidence, and coordination through safe, structured physical activity in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. Dan integrates personalised support, 1:1 coaching, and small group sessions to improve both academic and personal development outcomes.

Animal Therapy Programme Coordinator
Sian Hammer
Specialist in animal-assisted therapy and eco-based education for SEND learners in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Sian delivers Lexability’s animal-assisted and eco-based learning programmes, supporting emotional regulation, social skills, and overall wellbeing. She creates calm, nurturing environments for children and young people with autism, ADHD, and complex needs. She blends specialist training with inclusive educational approaches to deliver sessions that foster confidence and meaningful engagement with the natural world.

Cooking Skills Programme Coordinator
Manu Carboni
SEND educator delivering hands-on cooking skills and creative learning programmes in Hertfordshire. Manu delivers Lexability’s cooking skills programme. Her sessions use food preparation and collaborative tasks to build independence, resilience, and everyday life skills. Manu's sessions are adapted to suit diverse needs and learning styles, providing safe spaces to experiment through structured activities, supporting sensory exploration and healthy lifestyle choices.
